Because after blowing a 5-0 lead thanks to an error-filled fifth inning and sloppy rest of the game, the Dodgers soared back to a 7-6 win . But Yankee Stadium still blasted “New York, New York” by Frank Sinatra as the Dodgers celebrated on the field, angering fans, even though the song gets played during other losses.
