A former X Factor contestant contestant has come out as transgender, sharing their inspiring journey on social media. Dylan Holloway auditioned for the talent competition back in 2012 as one-half of the singing duo MK1. He took to the stage alongside with Simeon Dixon, who reached the series finals and finished 11th.
However, the star now makes new music under the name Dylan and The Moon. Dylan also often shares his personal life with his followers on his Instagram page and previously came out as bisexual. In an interview with The Sun, he said: "If I go out and guys come up to me they look really confused when I say I've got a girlfriend.
"It's weird because all the girls think I'm a gay and all the guys think I'm straight. But I actually like boys and girls, so I get the best of both worlds. I went from having a boyfriend to a girlfriend and it was really funny.
"I was friends with this girl in my town and we used to hang out and then one day I started feeling a bit different and I thought, 'I like both'." These days, Dylan has been openly sharing his trans journey as he navigates this new chapter in his life. In a pinned post to his page, he says: "I'm a musician and I'm also a transgender man.
