Article content A Thousand Voices at the Cross returns to Sault Ste. Marie this weekend. A Thousand Voices at the Cross is an unforgettable evening of worship and community celebration.

This free event will be held on Sat. Aug. 24 at the “Cross on the Hill” located at 250 St.

Georges Avenue East (behind St. Basil’s Elementary School). Grounds will open at 6:00 PM, and the service will begin promptly at 7:00 PM, concluding at 8:30 PM.

A Thousand Voices at the Cross brings together individuals and families for a powerful evening of faith and togetherness, as we collectively honor the love and grace of Jesus Christ. A diverse lineup of local musicians and inspiring speakers will lead the gathering in heartfelt worship and share uplifting prayer and messages of hope and faith. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to comfortably enjoy the outdoor event.

A designated prayer area will be available for attendees to connect with trained prayer partners who will offer compassion, comfort, and pray for specific needs and concerns.
