After a summer of celebrating his World Snooker Championship triumph with holidays and high-profile appearances, Kyren Wilson struggled to regain his focus for the 2024/25 season. The 32-year-old enjoyed his time off, which included parading the Silver Lady trophy at Chelsea 's Stamford Bridge, attending the British F1 Grand Prix and visiting sick children at Great Ormond Street Hospital. My family have to suffer with me being away all year round in different areas of the world. "I'm the sort of person who needs structure in their life. I'm quite an obsessive person so if I get a taste for something, I can go a bit crazy.
I think I got a taste for the beer while I was celebrating! It's hard to get yourself up after reaching the pinnacle. I didn't really know how to handle that, I didn't really know where to look. "So it was time to rein it in and get back to practice, because this game won't forgive you if you don't treat it right.
