Works by artistic icons such as Banksy, Andy Warhol, Salvador Dali and more will be on view in Dublin this month as one of Ireland’s largest art and sculpture exhibition returns for a second year. Showcasing over 250 artworks by the biggest names in international and Irish art, Gormleys at Charlemont Square runs from September 26 to October 17. Works by Banksy, Tracey Emin, Damien Hirst, Andy Warhol, Salvador Dali, Bridget Riley and Julian Opie will be on show, alongside leading and emerging Irish artists.

The highlight of the event will be features by renowned artists Banksy, Gordon Harris and living sculpture Daniel Lismore. Banksy, one of the world’s most intriguing artists, recently gained international attention as nine animal-themed murals by the street artist appeared across London in as many days.

Banksy’s most sought after works, ‘Girl with Balloon,’ valued at €115,000, will feature at the event. The political activist’s real name remains undisclosed and is the subject of intense speculation. Active since the 1990s, his satirical street art and works of political and social commentary have appeared on streets, walls, and bridges throughout the world.
