Workers of TNZ Apparels Ltd in Gazipur blocked Dhaka-Mymensingh highway in Maleker Bari area of Gazipur city demanding their unpaid dues. The protest began around 9:30AM on Saturday, halting vehicular movement on the highway. The blockade caused a heavy traffic congestion several kilometers long in both the Mymensingh and Tangail directions, as well as towards Dhaka.
