A group of English women have vowed not to return to North Wales due to the "anti-English attitude of locals. They claim they experienced "astounding hatred for the English" throughout their four-day trip in Llanberis. The group alleges they were yelled at in the street, subjected to anti-English comments in pubs, and struggled to get served in restaurants and bars. The women are part of 'Women that Walk', a group established in their local town to encourage females to enjoy nature.

Florist and mother-of-one Amy said: "The hatred for the English in North Wales is astounding, we will not be returning." Amy, who operates a flower business, says the group first noticed something was off when they arrived at their Airbnb on Friday, September 30. "When we first arrived there, we were walking down the street when one of us remarked on there being a funeral care place," she said.

"A guy walking past overheard us and said 'it's free for the English! ' It was a bit strange! ". The following night, Amy claims the group entered a pub where a man said: "Let's not bother with these they're bloody English." Amy said: "We had to tell them to leave us alone.

We ended up leaving the pub .
