A woman ignited quite the debate after getting into a sun loungers war. Holidaymakers are absolutely seething over the age-old debate of reserving sun loungers at resorts and now it's kicking off again. It's a real marmite issue as some reckon they've got every right to nab a poolside lounger at the crack of dawn by chucking a towel on it, while others argue it's not acceptable.

What's really grinding gears is when early birds bag their spots and then scarper for hours, leaving later risers fuming with nowhere to soak up the rays because all the chairs look taken with no bum in sight. And this exact pickle has gone and wound up one Reddit user big time. This 28-year-old lass was holidaying in Mexico with her other half and couldn't believe it when there wasn't a single empty lounger by the pool because of this towel game.

A couple of days into their holiday, they spot four unused loungers sitting there asking for it, but draped with towels. Then after no sign of the hotel guest, she decided to shift the towels. However, an "extremely aggressive" guest rocks up later and gives her an earful.

She detailed: "After maybe two hours, a woman comes over extremely aggressive. She stated they were her chairs and she got up at 5am to claim them. I stated 'It's 3pm now and we've observed the loungers multiple times and you haven't used them all day and it's selfish'.

"She continued to drag the two spare loungers, including my partner's lounger as he was in the bathroom, across the groun.
