A mum has shared her inspiring story of how she turned a lacklustre lawn into a beautiful garden with two blooming flower beds, all for roughly £100. Rachael White from North Berwick, Scotland, joined the ranks of Brits eager to revamp their gardens on a budget this summer. Speaking to BBC's Gardeners' World, despite the season's persistent rain, she managed to venture outside and give her front lawn a complete makeover using a simple technique.

The aspiring gardener presented her formerly sparse garden to viewers, but after just over a year, the transformation was astounding. She achieved this remarkable change by selecting plants that attract pollinators and getting her family involved in the gardening project.
