The Ottawa police homicide unit is investigating, and police said witnesses were being interviewed. Map shows location of Uplands Drive Park where stabbing death occured. Photo by Robert Cross / Postmedia A suspect fled the scene but was later apprehended by police on Highway 417 near Casselman, more than 65 kilometres east of the city.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Homicide Unit at 613-236-1222 extension 5493, they also said anonymous tips can be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477(TIPS). More to come..
