A Virginia car meet took a deadly turn when a young mom was shortly after she chillingly confessed to her own mom that she felt like an argument was likely to break out. Kayla Healey, 21, was along the 1200 block of Battery Brooke Parkway on August 7 at around 11.39pm, according to police.

The mom of two was rushed to hospital, where she was declared dead. The , a desolate stretch of Battery Brook Parkway in Chesterfield County, is often used for car meet-ups and , WTVR reports. Kayla's mom, Alice Watkins, told the outlet this is why her daughter was there.

"Kayla had a fascination with cars and racing, she just loved street racing. She's always as a little girl had taken to the drag strip," Alice said. Kayla had seen a social media post about a meet-up and decided to go, but her mom said she had some concerns after arriving.

"I had talked to my daughter at about 10.30-ish and she told me she was at a car show and she felt like there was going to be an argument," Alice explained. Just an hour and 9 minutes later a 911 call was made reporting shots fired at the gathering.

Two women were arrested by the US Marshals in Fairfax County on August 12. Nibreya Kee, 29, was charged with aggravated malicious wounding, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Rose Nadey, 39, was charged with principle in the second degree to aggravated malicious wounding, conspiracy to commit aggravated malicious wounding, and a misdemeanor assaul.
