Window cleaning is the least favoured chore for many as it can take a while and often many products are needed for the task. However, cleaning experts behind the TikTok account @thecleaupcompany claim you only need to use one thing to get “shiny” and “streak-free” windows - washing up liquid. They started the video by saying: “Oh my god, this is the best cleaning hack ever.
So to clean windows, you don’t need no window cleaner, all you need is Fairy Liquid (washing up liquid) - it’s literally incredible.” Showing windows with a “couple of marks” on them, the cleaner got to work applying the dish soap to a damp microfibre cloth and rubbed it all over the window. The Fairy liquid was then bugged away with a dry microfibre cloth which left behind “brilliant” results.
They said: “It’s absolutely incredible. I won’t ever use standard window cleaner again because this just works. Streak-free.
Look how fast it works.” Taking to the comments section, fellow cleaning enthusiasts shared their thoughts’ @petersgirl01 claimed: “I’ve been doing this for 40 years.” @philipsann88 said: “Same, always cleaned windows this way.
