Sydney Philharmonia Choirs artistic director Brett Weymark has curated a selection of works by Italian masters, such as Giovanni Gabrieli, Antonio Caldara, Domenico Scarlatti and Claudio Monteverdi. The uplifting program will be performed by the 40 virtuosic singers ofthe choirs' acclaimed chamber singers and an intimate ensemble of leading Australian Baroque musicians. "Immerse yourself in the splendid choral music that once echoed beneath the gilded domes and painted ceilings of Rome's majestic chapels and reverberated among the lavish balconies overlooking Venice's Piazza San Marco," a spoke.
