Swindon's motorists will have five road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week, while Wiltshire will have dozens. One of them is expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes. The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows closures will begin over the next two weeks near Swindon: • A419, from 8pm August 12 to 6am August 13, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 15 to junction 14, carriageway closure for electrical work.

• M4, from 9pm August 16 to 6am August 17, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 15 entry slip, lane closure for horticultural works. • A303, from 7pm August 8 to 6am August 15, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A303 eastbound, Countess roundabout to Parkhouse closed for carriageway repairs. Diversion via A345, Portway and A338 to Parkhouse.
