A visibly distraught Will Mellor raged today: "When my daughter is scared to go out I have to say something." The ex- Strictly and Coronation Street star vented his frustrations after taking a walk to clear his head.
Clutching some coffee, he told over 600,000 followers: "I'm just sick of waking up to all this horrible negative s*** on social media - it's just horrible to read and see on the news." The star, who has two children with dancer Michelle McSween, was shaken up after their teenage girl Renee expressed her fears about the violence. "You know my daughter? She came to me the other day and she was scared about going out with everything that's going on, on the streets of England," he shared.
"It's just wrong. I mean how can we not all see that all we are is people? That's all we are!" He declared adamantly: "The actions of a few don't represent the rest. There are bad eggs in every single culture and we need to sort that out, but the only way to do that is by coming together as people.
