DreamWorks and Universal’s “The Wild Robot” is proving to be not just a critical smash but a commercial hit as well. The animated film has been posting stellar review scores – sitting at 98% both in critics and audience polls on Rotten Tomatoes, and landing an A CinemaScore from audience exit polls. Now, it’s also on track to open at the top spot at the box-office with an opening of around $35 million – ahead of tracking estimates.
