Liam Gallagher kicks off his headline slots at Reading and Leeds Festivals today and it's a pretty big occasion. The former Oasis rocker is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Manchester band's debut album definitely Maybe but there will be no sign of brother Noel Gallagher on stage with the star. The iconic album, which featured classics Rock 'n' Roll Star, Cigarettes & Alcohol and Supersonic, thrust the group into the limelight back in August 1994.

Thirty years on, songwriter Liam, who has been 'bouncing around the house' in excitement, said of his performances: "I'm gonna be playing Reading & Leeds the most RnR festivals we have left in the UK. Be there or be square." But to the devastation of many Oasis fans, the tour isn't a sign of a reunion, as the brothers' 14-year strong feud persists.
