A 'wholesome' coming-of-age film starring Olivia Colman is the second of her films to top the UK Netflix charts in the last week. 2022's Joyride is the currently the most-watched on the streamer's UK film charts. Only a few days ago, Wicked Little Letters took the number one spot.

It's currently sat at number three. Joyride's synopsis reads: "A headstrong solicitor's plan to offload her new born baby to her sister, is derailed when a vulnerable but opinionated teenager steals their taxi." Colman is Joy, while Charlie Reed plays teenager Mully.

The film is set in County Kerry, Ireland, and is directed by Emer Reynolds, whose previous work includes space documentary The Farthest. Fans awarded it with a 71 percent score, with many branding the film 'wholesome'. One summed it up: "An engaging wholesome buddy movie starring Olivi.
