Britain's pole vault prospects have rarely looked so promising ahead of Molly Caudery's Olympic debut on Monday. The sky is almost literally the limit for the current world indoor champion in her event, who can conquer once more if all goes to plans at Paris 2024. Caudery's accomplishments thus far in 2024 are that much more impressive given she's juggled the life of a model alongside her sporting commitments.

And that rare combination of beauty, elegance and athletic ability could be the perfect formula for Team GB's brightest star in France this summer. The Illogan native is among the frontrunners to win gold in the women's pole vault, which gets underway on Monday. Cornwall-born Caudery - who has 312,000 Instagram followers - will line up in Group B alongside 14 other athletes, while British compatriot Holly Bradshaw competes in Group A.

It wasn't long after confirming her arrival as an official Adidas athlete at the start of this year that Caudery celebrated by far the biggest win of her athletic career to date. The 24-year-oild became the first Briton to win gold in the women's pole vault at the World Athletics Indoor Championships following her bound of 4.80 metres.

She followed that up with her first Diamond League event win in Doha and a first-place finish at the Golden Spike event in Ostrava, clearing 4.84m in the latter.
