Whitney Center hopes to serve community through event calendar

SHERIDAN — The Whitney Center for the Arts at Sheridan College has often used its Kinnison Hall to host a wide range of musical events. Yet this year, the Whitney Center has added a few modifications to the way it is booking event seasons, leading to a more varied and diverse schedule. Whitney Center for the Arts coordinator Cora Pederson said past events have often been chosen through conversations with faculty, but the college hopes to now involve community members in the suggestion and decision process.
