An Atherton couple has something “scary” for everyone at their house this Halloween – with a display full of “creepy graveyards, werewolves and spiders.” Lauren Allister, 30, and Paul Hilton, 36, are bringing the “screams” at their Powys Street home. People can see their display through to November 1.

Lauren said: “We wanted to do everything from dragons, werewolves, spiders to clowns, and haunted graveyards. “So we could make sure everyone's scared. “People can look forward to a sensory experience.

“There will be smoke, bubbles, things jumping out at them. “When people scream, it's kind of a good thing. “I love horror and jump scares.

“Our thought was, many people put up displays for Christmas, but you don't often see much for Halloween. “And we started small. “The display went down really well.

“The next year, my mum saw an animatronic dragon in Costco and picked it up for us. “That dragon opened up possibilities. It all started from there.

“Every Halloween, it takes us around two weeks to build and test the animatronics and the display. “And then about four or fi.
