On November 1, 2024, he died at the age of 63 after suffering a heart attack. Over his career spanning decades, Rohit Bal had designed outfits for all the A-listers including Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Sonam Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai and others.

The founding member of the prestigious Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) had also worked closely with the team of Kaun Banega Crorepati and designed outfits for host Amitabh Bachchan. His elegant, spirited designs brought Big B’s KBC looks to life in a way only he could.
