Earlier the actor had revealed that Malayalam cinema has been a part of his life. In the year 2017, during the ‘Vanamagan’ movie promotion event in Kerala, Jayam Ravi hailed Malayalam cinema.
He said that the Kerala audiences has good taste in cinema and loves Malayalam movies which he says to be a part of his own life. Brother - Official Teaser He said that his father editor Mohan who is a producer used to show him several Malayalam movies in his childhood as there used to be several Malayalam films that were remade in Tamil. “From that moment on I started to understand the Malayalam language, even though I am not fluent in speaking,” the actor said during the press event, Jayam Ravi further said that the Malayalam school of acting is a very inspiring one for actors and he holds much respect towards it.
“ From Nedumudi Venu sir to Mohanlal sir, Thilakan sir, they are all a big inspiration for me. I respect all of their work and I have taken guidance from them,” said the actor. On the work front, Jayam Ravi’s previous outing was with the thriller film ‘ Siren ’ where he played the lead character Thilagan.
