A WHEELER Dealers star is planning a shock comeback three years after leaving the programme. The long-running motoring show has been on the air since 2003. Ant Anstead joined the Wheeler Dealers team in 2017, ultimately leaving in 2021.
Speaking exclusively to The Sun Online, the 45-year-old presenter revealed plans for a return to the programme. He shared: "You know, I'm a huge fan of the show, first of all. "And I'm incredibly proud of the stint that I did in the 22 year Wheel Dealers story.

“We were going to do something together on the 20th anniversary. And it just didn't work out. “But yeah, I think I, yeah.

” It comes as the mechanic returns to car restoration in a brand new show. Ant is fronting an eight-part series titled Ant Anstead: The Naked Mechanic, transforming an old barn into his workshop. Aside from bringing vehicles back to life, these are not the only restorations at play.
