For the uninitiated, the actor lived in the Pali Hill neighbourhood in Bandra. Manikarnika Films, her production firm, has its office on the same site. Kangana spends most of her time in Himachal Pradesh and New Delhi because of her political career.

However, there are rumours that she is selling her Bandra mansion for Rs 40 crore. For those who are unaware, this is the same property that was investigated by the BMC in 2020. Kangana Ranaut’s Mumbai Bungalow Faced Demolition Kangana’s Bandra office was partially destroyed by the BMC in September 2020 due to allegedly unlawful building.

Subsequently, the Bombay High Court overturned the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) ward officer’s September 9 decision to destroy a portion of actor Kangana Ranaut’s property. In May 2023, Kangana withdrew her lawsuit against BMC and her requests for compensation, which totalled Rs 2 crores. The local body’s decision to destroy around 40% of the house was deemed by the division bench of justices SJ Kathawalla and Riyaz Chagla to have been ‘actuated by malafide’ and to have been done so in flagrant disrespect for her rights.
