Natasha Raskin Sharp thanks taxi driver on BBC Radio Scotland Natasha Raskin Sharp returns to BBC's Bargain Hunt as one of the main hosts, following a lengthy career as an antiques expert. At the start of 2024 she took some time out of work to be with her family following the birth of her first child, baby Jean. The 38-year-old expert in Scottish contemporary art comes from a successful family, with her dad being artist Philip Raskin and her grandfather being TV magician, Max Raskin.

Initially training in law, she left her university course early, realising it was not for her. After obtaining a History of Art degree, she started auctioneering for McTear's, while balancing her TV career on various antiques shows. In 2021 she started a new business auctioning artworks from the studios where they were made.

Speaking to Glasgow West End Today, she said: "With my travelling rostrum and trusty gavel - a gift from my dad, as it happens - I’ll auction off the artworks from the very rooms in which they were created. For many, auction houses are unfamiliar territory and people are especially put off by the commission added to the hammer price. “I’ve decided to add 0% buyer’s commission to the hammer price so that when you buy an artwork at Exhibit Auctions, what you bid is what you’ll pay.
