Over a decade ago, in July 2012, released a video showcasing four trainees known as “Future “. The video showed the girls’ dance talent together as well as one of the trainee’s vocal skills, and it was easy to see that all of them were incredibly talented! Despite their extended training period at YG Entertainment, however, none of the four trainees ended up debuting in a girl group at the label. Now, 12 years later, each of them has become a a successful artist through other companies and has put their intense training at YG Entertainment to good use! The first trainee who makes an appearance in the video is now-soloist .
Youha was a trainee at YG Entertainment from 2010 until 2019. After leaving the company, she debuted as a soloist under with the digital single “Island” on September 29, 2020. She ended up leaving Universal Music Korea in February 2024.
Along with being a soloist, she has also written and composed the songs of other well-known artists! These include ‘s “PTT (Paint The Town)” and “Wow”, ‘s “What I Said”, and STAYC’s “Beauty Bomb”. She’s active on different social media sites, including X, Instagram, and YouTube. The second former trainee to appear in the YG Entertainment video is ‘s ! Seoyeon trained at YG Entertainment since she was in fourth grade at the age of 10 in 2010, and stayed there for 6 years until 2016 after she didn’t debut in .
