Wetherspoons will make a major change at 784 pubs next week just in time for the Olympics. The popular pub chain says its 801 pubs across the country will be screening the 2024 Paris Olympics, which starts on Friday, July 26. Wetherspoons, which has 801 pubs across the country, confirmed that only a handful of their boozers would not televise the Games due to not having screens.

A spokesman for the boozer said: "Wetherspoons pubs will be showing the Olympics. "So wherever your local is, you won't miss out on the events in Paris." The full list of 17 Wetherspoons pubs that don't have screens and won't be showing any games includes The Albert and The Lion, Blackpool, The Commercial Rooms, Bristol and The Corn Exchange, Bury St Edmunds.
