Kinzua Valley Trail Club members and its board of directors gathered Wednesday at the KVT East Trailhead to officially open its latest section of trail. Cindy Masters and Mike Angello cut the ribbon on 1.4 miles of trail running from KVT East, adjacent to Route 219, to the Guffey Trailhead.
The club will host its popular annual Moon Dance from 4 to 10 p.m. Saturday at the historic Westline Fire Hall.
The event is the club’s major fundraiser of the year, allowing them to continue developing and maintaining trails in the beautiful Kinzua Valley. In the interest of safety, the Kinzua Valley Trail Club and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation suggest users access the Tally Ho to Guffey section of trail via the KVTC East Trailhead and avoid crossing Route 219..
