The former Nowhereman brewery and taphouse in West Leederville will reopen on August 16 as Otherside of Nowhere under new owners Otherside Brewing Co. The two craft breweries announced their merger in November last year. Since then, the venue has been refurbished with fresh external painting and signage, a new and expanded menu, internal layout changes, a live music program and the addition of Otherside beers.

started brewing the following year at their Myaree facility before opening Fremantle live music venue Freo.Social in 2019. Otherside Brewing general manager Braden Loader said the refreshed venue is “as much an authentic Otherside experience as it is a nod to the institution Nowhereman built in West Leederville”.

“We worked every step of the way with the Nowhereman crew,” Loader said, adding that several “easter eggs” celebrating the original brewery are sprinkled throughout the new-look venue.
