Charity Children’s Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS) is celebrating 10 years of Diana children’s nurses — specialist roles that were created and named in honour of Princess Diana and funded by the government to commemorate her life and work. “We just held him and told him we loved him and were proud of him,” said mum Mel, whose son, Matthew, passed away at the age of 11 on October 29, 2023. “I felt like he felt safe. I think he felt loved.
