The folks behind much-loved dining destinations Tableau Bar Bistro, Homer St. Cafe & Bar, and have something else up their sleeves. The Wentworth Hospitality Group has shared it will be launching a new dining destination, Folietta, early next year.

Folietta will focus on regional Italian fare and will be located in East Vancouver at 1480 Nanaimo Street (within Amacon’s latest development, ). “We are thrilled to be a part of this community and look forward to welcoming everyone to Wentworth Hospitality Group’s fourth and largest restaurant and our first outside downtown Vancouver,” said Roy Comesotti, vice president of operations. “We’ve envisioned it as a neighbourhood locale for the Grandview-Woodland community, with a menu crafted by Vancouver industry veterans, complemented by a convivial atmosphere and a commitment to locally sourced ingredients.

This fresh Grandview-Woodland area restaurant and bar will offer regional Italian flavours with a contemporary twist from Wentworth Hospitality Group’s Executive Chef Bobby Milheron alongside Chef de Cuisine Imtiaaz Patel. Folietta is inspired by the word foliage in Italian. It aims to be a hub for family meals, late-night drinks, and even weekend brunch.

The interior design of this restaurant is by Ste Marie. We’re told it blends “modern elegance with old-world charm” within the space that offers four dining areas and an open-concept kitchen. Folietta will offer 130 seats along with a semi-enclosed patio.
