Taylor Swift fans without tickets to her Eras Tour have been warned they can't stand outside Wembley Stadium's entrance during her upcoming London shows. Swifties regularly gather outside venues where the singer is performing if they aren't able to secure tickets to her sold-out shows. Known as 'Tay-gating', the popular trend sees fans gather to sing, dance, and trade friendship bracelets with each other.

But fans who hoped to meet outside Wembley Stadium should take note of the venue's access regulations. "To support with the safe entry and exit of everyone within the stadium, no one is allowed to stand outside any entrance or on the Olympic Steps at the front of the stadium," the stadium states on its dedicated Eras Tour webpage. "Non ticket holders will be moved on.

Responding to Wembley Stadium's guidance online, Swifties were quick to praise the venue for its policy.

While several fans said they were sad for those hoping to 'Tay-gate', they agreed it's the right step to take and one that could help ease fears following the alleged terror plot that saw Swift's recent shows in Vienna cancelled. "This is necessary but still so sad. The sense of community that these shows have created.
