Weller Development Partners and Pegasus Capital Advisors have unveiled the resort renderings and masterplan for the $250 million development of Six Senses Grand Bahama. Spanning a whopping 50 acres, the highly anticipated resort community will boast 70 resort villas and 28 branded residences. As the project highlights sustainability, resilience, and wellness, this grand development aims to establish a vibrant community and redefine luxury living in The Bahamas and the Caribbean.

Designed by award-winning architecture firm Gensler, the resort plan was crafted to blend seamlessly with its surrounding landscape. With thoughtfulness in mind, the resort honors Grand Bahamian culture and the island’s Lucayan heritage. Weaving sustainable architecture with the natural environment, this approach mirrors the local mindset of living lightly on the land.

In line with the LEED Silver certification, this project utilized locally sourced construction materials while enforcing energy conservation through passive shading, high-efficiency MEP systems, and renewable energy use. Further, a reinforced dune system was installed along the property’s sea-side coastline for beach restoration and replenishment. As an additional benefit, this sustainability initiative will create hundreds of employment opportunities for the community contributing to the region's long-term economic trajectory.

With the raised structure enveloped by native flora, residents will have uninterrupted ocean and canal vie.
