Weedsport brewery to host comedy night

Lunkenheimer Craft Brewing Co. in Weedsport will host a night of stand-up comedy on Friday, Aug. 23.

Homebrewed Comedy, hosted by Mike Peters, will present headliner Dario Joseph with Eric Basile and Bill Lake from 6 to 8 that night at the brewery, 8931 N. Seneca St., Weedsport.

Joseph worked throughout New York City for four years before coming back to Rochester in the mid-2010s. He has opened for Brian Posehn, Iliza Shlesinger and more, and in 2014 was named Rochester's Funniest Person. Basile has performed in western New York since 2016 and hosts a variety show called Endless Laughter, and Lake is a former contributing writer for David Letterman and Craig Ferguson.
