It has become a sort of tradition that each year, we embark on a new adventure to test out the latest EarthRoamer model. This time, we found ourselves winter camping in the majestic Colorado Rockies with the EarthRoamer SX-004, and this $1.1 million luxury camper is by far the most epic EarthRoamer yet.

We drove the EarthRoamer off the beaten path and parked next to a picturesque stream, surrounded by snow-covered pine trees and towering mountains. The view was incredible, but the real star of the show was the EarthRoamer itself. With its military-grade carbon fiber body, 100-gallon diesel tanks, and self-sufficient power system, it’s built for absolutely anything.

The outdoor kitchen, winches, and off-road-ready tires added serious adventure potential, while the luxurious interior—with features like a California King bed, full kitchen, and even a washer/dryer—made this feel like a five-star suite on wheels. Any description we could write in no way does the EarthRoamer any justice, but we’ll do our best to give you the down low on what it’s like to camp in a $1.1 million vehicle.

The front of the EarthRoamer SX-004 has some serious cool factor. With the light bar that literally seems as bright as the sun, you can drive through the craziest of snowstorms in the middle of the night with no problem. One of the most special things about the EarthRoamer SX is that the camper is made out of super-strong, By “super-strong” we mean that theoretically the camper could be.
