SAYS was invited to its grand launch yesterday, 15 August, and we had an amazing time! The entire experience takes about an hour to complete, depending on the crowd and how many photos and videos you want to capture. There are over 100 exclusive exhibits imported from Japan, including life-sized character statues and paper manuscripts. As anime fans, we constantly found ourselves admiring the sketch-to-anime panels displayed throughout the exhibition.

The anime is produced by the revered MAPPA Studio, known for animating other popular series such as and . In the exhibition, we saw animatics displayed alongside the final anime scenes. As a person who truly admires the animation medium, I was in awe! My profound admiration for the animatics extended to the beautiful uncoloured sketches on paper manuscripts which, in my opinion, sometimes look even better than the final products we see in anime episodes.

We were unable to photograph the paper manuscripts up close, so you'll have to experience the exhibition yourself to appreciate how beautiful Itadori Yuji's character design is in some of the sketches. However, I am allowed to show you the animatic and anime being displayed alongside one another: These zones were an unexpected highlight for us. Our video producer, Anith, was determined to stay until she got a photo with Gojo in the background.

We don't blame her, as we all secretly wanted more photos with him too. After that, we finally got to the zone featuring Itadori Yuji, Su.
