A couple were left lost for words when they racked up a beach club bill in Ibiza that set them back more than their flights to the party island. Federica and Giuseppe, known as My Trip to Naples on social media, watched their party go flat after seeing the eye-popping sum on their Cala Bassa Beach Club receipt. Opting for some swanky downtime at the upmarket haunt, situated on Sant Josep beach, the Italian couple kicked back with a few well-deserved drinks.

But little did they know, they splashed more than €400 - almost £350 - and included in their lavish expenditure was a charge of €40 - £34 - just for sun loungers, a steep €160 (£137) spent on champagne, and an additional €200 (£172) was billed for their food after opting for the seafood paella and Iberian ham. Their TikTok video documenting the extravagant day has been viewed more than 723,000 times and received 10,000 likes. Despite their indulgence, the duo were left shocked after inspecting the receipt.

Giuseppe said: "Something is wrong here because I paid more to be here for a few hours than on the flight to visit the island." Typically, the comments section on the couple's clip was inundated with their followers expressing their dismay. "Exaggerated prices everywhere, travelling now is a luxury," one said and another told them: "Thanks now I know where NOT to go.

" "The same place 10 years ago cost no more than €50," another said. A fourth person revealed how they had decided to ditch a scheduled trip to.
