Soon after Katchi Sera , Sai Abhyankkar created this banger of a song and this time around, he was accompanied by his sister Sai Smriti , who lent her vocals to the track. So, who better than these siblings to talk to this Rakshabandhan? In a chat with us, the siblings, who are the children of popular singers Tipu and Harini, delve into their bond.

I didn’t think that the support (for Katchi Sera) would continue,even though I was confident I had given my 100 per cent. I never expected her voice and my production would be so loved.
Smriti: The recording was tedious, but I loved it because the output was beautiful. It was worth every minute we spent. I’m glad I did my first recording with him.
It was lovely to see people reciprocate to all that he has put into his music. He’s been creating music since he was 13. He would rather sit in the studio all day than go out.

I wanted it to sound retro. Smriti: I was like, ‘I got to go to sleep’ and he was like, ‘Just sing’. He worked really hard for Katchi .
