Luxury escape Huddersfield’s Titanic Spa has previously received global acclaim for its state of the art facilities so when looking for somewhere to go for a relaxing night away I knew just the place - or so I thought. Titanic Spa, is based in a stunningly-restored 20th Century textile mill and set in wonderful surroundings. Having visited the spa a number of times since it opened in 2005, I was looking forward to the same levels of luxury I have experienced previously, but unfortunately that wasn't the case.

My partner made the booking team aware of a medical issue and they advised which treatments would be suitable.

After a busy couple of months we were really looking forward to some well-deserved rest and alone time but sadly our day started with a bit of a hiccup and gradually got worse.
