In the ’70s, the Allman Brothers Band helped create country-fried rock and roll. Now, a half century later, the next generation is keeping that singular sound alive and well. This fall, The Allman-Betts Band , fronted by Devon Allman and Duane Betts (Gregg and Dickey’s sons, respectively), will take classic tracks like “Melissa,” “Midnight Rider,” “Whipping Post,” “Jessica,” “Ramblin’ Man” and so many more to venues all over North America on their eighth ‘Allman-Betts Family Revival Tour.

’ As of now, the 11-member group — featuring Roy Orbison’s youngest son Alex — have four New York-based shows lined up. First, the group hits Buffalo’s Kleinhans Music Hall on Wednesday, Dec. 4.

After that, they ride to Port Chester’s Capitol Theatre on Friday, Dec. 6, New York City’s Beacon Theatre on Saturday, Dec. 7 and Huntington’s The Paramount on Sunday, Dec.
