A headteacher said he is incredibly proud after secondary school students completed a ten-mile walk for a hospice charity. A group from Shoreham Academy hiked over the South Downs to raise funds for St Barnabas House in Worthing. The students have raised over £1,600 between them.

"They took on their ten-mile challenge with passion and dedication and have raised a fantastic amount for the hospice. "It is thanks to support like this from our local community, that adults with life-limiting illnesses and their loved ones can enjoy life as fully as possible for the time they have left together.
