Saturday, September 7, 2024 Wayanad charm is back, drawing international travelers to its reopened scenic spots, eager to explore the natural beauty and unique experiences the region offers. As Wayanad’s tourist attractions reopen, foreign visitors are steadily returning to the picturesque district. After a brief pause, Wayanad is once again drawing both local and international travelers eager to experience its natural wonders.

Recently, a four-member group hailing from Ireland, the UK, and Germany visited the district as part of a responsible tourism program. Their itinerary included exploring the famous Edakkal Caves and a visit to the Ripon Tea Factory. The group, which arrived in Wayanad on Tuesday, spent an entire day immersing themselves in the region’s breathtaking scenery.

They trekked through the villages of Muthanga and wandered across the nearby fields to fully appreciate the area’s beauty. Sabu Abraham, a seasoned guide from Wayanad Nature Tours, led the group on their journey. He mentioned that travelers from various countries have already booked trips to Wayanad, with many expected to arrive in the coming days.

Foreign tourists are particularly drawn to Wayanad’s natural landscapes and distinctive local flavors. Many visitors are also interested in learning about organic farming practices and tasting the region’s unique cuisine. Next week, the district is set to welcome groups from Italy, France, and the United States, further boosting Wayanad’s tour.
