AN American waterpark has revealed a new ride that will leave thrill seekers screaming. The water coaster and raft hybrid set to be unveiled at the popular park will take riders on a journey with plenty of ups and downs. MAKING A SPLASH Soak Island City, a water park at Kings Island in Ohio, has announced that they are unveiling the state's soon-to-be first dual-racing water coaster called RiverRacers in 2025, according to Fox19 Now .

Part water coaster and part water slide, the ride gives visitors two experiences rolled into one. The attraction is set to be powered by gravity and water jets. With side-by-side rafts that take a drop at speeds up to 30 miles per hour, the ride is not for the faint of heart.

An enclosed tunnel takes passengers through the darkness, special lighting effects and all. Most read in Travel Racers will find that the ride has plenty of twists and turns as they are forced into a "high-banking slingshot." They will be flung around 180 degrees until the grand nail-biting finale - the final mega drop.
