OLD FORGE — Enchanted Forest Water Safari will host a Paul Bunyan Look-Alike Contest along with a Jill the Lumberjack Look-Alike Contest at its Wave Pool at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug.
31. This event is part of Water Safari’s ongoing efforts to create unique and engaging experiences for visitors, officials said, adding that all guests should come dressed in their best lumberjack outfits for a chance to win prizes. “We are excited to host this look-alike contest and can’t wait to see our guests’ creativity and spirit,” said Cathy Dunlap, president of Water Safari.
“It’s a wonderful opportunity for everyone to have fun, show off their lumberjack style, and enjoy a day at the park.” The top prize is a 2025 season pass to Water Safari. Second prize is $50 Splash Cash, while third prize is a Paul Bunyan Doll, according to the contest announcement.
The 2024 season is in its final weeks, according to the resort website. The park is open from 10 a.m.
to 6:30 p.m. through Sunday, Aug.
