PETE Wicks terrifyingly collapsed on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins - moments before DS staff admitted fears they'd 'kill him'. The former Towie star and Strictly Come Dancing competitor has returned to the endurance military training course after suffering catastrophic injuries last year. Determined to make it through this time, episode three of the show saw Pete push himself to his limit – with almost disastrous results.

On tonight's episode, the remaining recruits were split into pairs and told to pull 130 pounds of kit in a race across three kilometres of icy terrain. However, Pete's partner (or 'oppo' in course terms) comedian Tez Ilyas, was forced to withdraw by DS staff, who declared him a "safety problem" halfway through the task. However, this meant leaving Pete to carry everything by himself.

"He ain't gonna make it," said Billy, telling cameras, "He's gonna die." Most read in TV Billy has since admitted he feared he's killed Pete during the aggressive task. Eventually, medical staff were brought in to bring him back to base camp to be assessed - much to the anger of Pete, who wanted to carry on despite admitting feeling sick.

Once assessed by the medical team, Pete was cleare.
