A YouTuber, called Lia, who has 34.5 million followers and goes by the name of sssniperwolf, bought a few designer dresses from Temu to see whether they lived up to the images on the website. She shared what she refers to as “a bunch of unrealistic dresses” off Temu and set about finding out if they are a sleigh or a scam.
She had reservations as to whether she would be able to pay $24 (R445,83) and get a dress that looks like it’s something you could wear to the Met Gala. When the dresses arrived she was stunned to discover that they were virtually exactly the same as the images and the quality was excellent.
