As it passes, a tongue of flame suddenly shoots from the underside of the motor. There is nothing obvious in the video to suggest what caused the fire. As the vehicle travelled along, the blaze continued to rage beneath it, carpeting the tarmac in fire.

Footage of the aftermath has also emerged on social media as passersby filmed the chaos. Pedestrians and other drives could be seen running back and forth trying to throw water on the inferno and calling for help.
Fire crews soon arrived but, by then, the flames looked to have already found.
