Coupang Play’s upcoming comedy series “Officer Workers” (literal translation) has unveiled a new teaser and character posters! A spin-off of SNL Korea’s popular segment “MZ Office,” “Office Worker” is a hyper-realistic office comedy that depicts the survival stories of Gen-Z employees at DY Planning, a struggling small marketing company. The newly released character posters hilariously capture the distinct traits of DY Planning’s employees, drawing laughter. Led by CEO Shin Dong Yup , the cast includes Manager Kim Min Kyo , Team Leader Lee Soo Ji , Junior Manager Hyun Bong Sik, Assistant Manager Kim Won Hoon, employees Ji Ye Eun and Cha Jung Won (Car the Garden), and Intern Shim Ja Yoon (STAYC’s Yoon).
Each of the eight characters showcases their own “villainous charm,” teasing a lively and bold narrative filled with humor. The teaser introduces a variety of strong personalities, from the types of coworkers you would want to avoid at all costs to characters that feel eerily familiar, raising viewers’ anticipation for the show. Starting with CEO Shin Dong Yup, who is seen napping on the office sofa after a drunken night, the teaser showcases the chaotic daily lives of the company’s employees, hinting at a future full of mishaps and mayhem at DY Planning, leaving viewers eager to see the full story.
