The Washington Centre Plaza is listed for sale, according to an online listing. However, according to the owner, that was a leftover from a failed bid to acquire the Cascade Galleria. The 24,418-square-foot property, at 4-30 N.

com . The plaza is owned by Pittsburgh-based 2BOrNot2B, according to Lawrence County assessment records. “It’s on the market,” said company Managing Partner Thomas Wilson.
Wilson said the company attempted to purchase the Cascade Galleria, at 100 S. Jefferson St., for $4.
5 million during its auction from April 29 through May 1. The offer was rejected. Wilson said Washington Centre was placed for sale to help go towards the payment of the Cascade Galleria bid.
He said, if the Galleria was purchased, the company would look to remove any asbestos left in the space, pull old tanks, subdivide the property and put it back on the market. Washington Centre was built in 1974 and renovated in 2011. KW Commercial realtor Keri Thomas said the listing is still active.
